Julian is currently in the workshopping process with his first play, entitled ASCENSION:
Trapped for three hundred years on a deserted island off the coast of Africa and haunted by his best friend, the spirit of a Dutch soldier decides to face his fears and ask his one true love for forgiveness -- by telling the truth.
Based on the true story of Leendert Hasenbosch who was marooned for sodomy by the Dutch East India Company in 1725, Ascension is a one-person play examining queerness both past and present -- as well as how the violence of industrial society has continued to shape men’s actions and capacity for gentleness.
